I run several fast-moving fit-out and construction projects and need a reliable partner to keep both the books and the day-to-day admin under control. Xero is my platform of choice, so you must be fluent in it. The single most urgent task is weekly bank and credit card reconciliations—those have to be spotless so I can see cash flow in real time. From there, I also expect you to process sales and purchase invoices, handle accounts payable / receivable, and track project costs and purchase orders so each site stays on budget. Once the month closes, you’ll give me the numbers I need for financial reporting, VAT returns, and occasional basic payroll support. On the admin side your focus will be phone calls and email follow-ups, but whenever things are quiet I’ll rely on you to keep filing up to date, maintain subcontractor compliance records, and update our internal job files so the project managers always have the latest documentation.
