Prepare a short report, including plenty of figures, describing the different steps involved in the segmentation of the pelvis and proximal femurs of the scan data that i will provide .Also, fill one of the proximal femurs so that it has a solid internal core and then mesh it to produce a finite element model with about 50,000 tetrahedral elements. The report should present the strategy used to segment the data, and explain why the approaches and tools used are the most appropriate to process this type of data. The potential problems encountered during this work and the solutions adopted to solve them should be reported and discussed.
