A fully branded multi-issue libertarian political campaign (“GND”) seeks a single professional contractor. The GND is closely associated with – but legally separate from – the campaign of a uniquely qualified but relatively unknown candidate for the Libertarian Party 2024 presidential nomination. The contractor is sought for two purposes.
(a) The contractor will conduct outreach to secure bookings with libertarian podcasts and mainstream media for the candidate, who will promote both his campaign and the GND. Targets will include outlets on a specified list provided by the campaign as well as others identified by the contractor’s own research. The contractor will be compensated by the candidate’s campaign through a combination of fees and incentive payments.
(b) The contractor will raise funds for the GND. Targets will include individuals on a specified list provided by the campaign as well as others identified by the contractor’s own research. The contractor will be compensated solely on commission by the GND, which must be self-sustaining. All funds, net of the contractor’s commission, will be used to advertise and promote the GND, separate from the candidate.
The candidate has a track record in the media including recent appearances and appearances during a 2021 Congressional race, but has not yet initiated a public relations outreach program. The campaign has a social media presence which may be leveraged by the contractor working through the campaign’s social media manager. Available storylines include:
• the candidate’s pending announcement of the GND, a fully branded package of libertarian reforms to government, and
• reform-related issues in the candidate’s recognized areas of expertise in economic policy and police management.
Requirements for this engagement include:
(1) some experience in either non-profit development or fundraising for a political candidate or public policy issues,
(2) at least some experience in either public relations or B2B sales, and
(3) an awareness of libertarian politics.
Interested parties should indicate qualifications meeting these requirements as well as receptivity to incentive compensation and a willingness to keep track of contacts made and report progress regularly.
