Automated Stock Recommendation Parser for Google Sheets

I receive a daily stock recommendation email from my newspaper subscription (every weekday except Monday). Each email contains one stock pick with details like: Stock name (NSE-listed) Recommended buying price Resistance price Stop-loss level Target / exit price Short commentary I want to automate capturing this information into a Google Sheet. Scope of work Read specific incoming emails from my Gmail account (based on sender, subject, or label). Extract the relevant fields from the email content. Write the data into a Google Sheet with columns: Date, NSE stock symbol, Buy Price, Resistance, Stop Loss, Target Price, Email Subject, and Message ID. Ensure the script skips duplicates and only logs each recommendation once per day. Handle cases where the email body is formatted text and/or image (e-paper style) with OCR or other reliable methods, with basic error handling. Provide a simple way for me to adjust rules later if the publisher changes wording slightly. Technical expectations Solution built with Google Apps Script (preferred) or equivalent automation that works with Gmail + Google Sheets. Robust parsing logic: should work across many issues of the same newsletter, not just one sample. Clear comments in the code and brief documentation so I can modify sender, labels, and sheet ranges myself. Deliverables Working script or automation connected to my Gmail and one Google Sheet. Short setup guide (1–2 pages) explaining: How to deploy or re-run the script. How to change filters (sender/subject/label). How to adjust parsing rules if the email format changes slightly. Experience with Google Apps Script, Gmail API, and Google Sheets API.
