Precision Geometric and Graphic Design in Illustrator

This job is to take my ideas and designs and create a 2 layer illustrator file. This file will be used to drive a laser cutter, so the two layers will represent:-

1) The lines the laser cutter needs to cut - THESE MUST BE PRECISION!! I.e. Perfect Geometric Hexagons etc.

2) The designs and lines the laser cutter needs to just etch on the wood

I have already pretty much done the designs, but you will need to take the source files or find your own, and redo them as high quality vectors and follow my instructions.

I need this work doing within a week please.

The above says vectors, but all that is required for the images is for them to be traced into high enough quality to print on the laser cutting machine clearly.

Most of the graphics are simple silhouettes so there is not as much work as it looks.

There are a number of extra images in the attachment but those are just source images. Please check my example (mainly the sheep.xcf file) files, and you will see the graphics are very simple one color graphics.

The hardest bit is probably creating the first layer because you need to make perfect tessellated hexagons. But even that should be easy for a competent user of illustrator.
