The whole piece needs to read like a warm hug—inviting, sincere, gently funny—and it should look grounded in reality. Think expressive, realistic artwork that captures tired eyes, tiny fingers, late-night feedings, and the quiet triumphs that make it all worthwhile. Story focus • Single, continuous narrative told entirely from the mother’s perspective. • Tone stays heart-warming; moments of light humor are welcome but never slip into parody. • Key scenes should naturally weave in simple science: oxytocin surges during skin-to-skin contact, the way sleep deprivation fogs thinking, how the brain rewires around bonding, etc. These facts must feel organic—part of the mother’s inner monologue rather than textbook inserts. Scope & length I’m picturing roughly 24–32 full-color pages (including cover), but I’m open to your page-count recommendation if it serves pacing and emotional impact. Deliverables 1.
