I’m looking for a Kolkata-based freelance HVAC engineer to prepare precise industrial load calculations that cover ventilation, cooling and heating for a new facility we are planning. The building layout, process heat gains and preliminary equipment schedules are ready; what I need from you is a calculation package that tells us exactly how big each component has to be before we move on to detailed design. Scope • Determine sensible and latent loads for every zone, factoring in machinery, occupancy and Kolkata’s peak weather data. • Size central and local ventilation, chilled-water or DX cooling, and heating elements, tying each value back to your assumptions. • Recommend equipment capacities (fans, chillers, boilers/heat pumps, coils) with diversity factors clearly stated. • Provide an editable worksheet (HAP, Trace 700, or equivalent) and a concise summary report in PDF. Acceptance criteria • All calculations traceable, units SI, indoor conditions 24 ±1 °C / 50 % RH unless otherwise noted. • ASHRAE or ISHRAE methodologies referenced where applicable. • Results must let us verify total tonnage and airflow against your zone breakdown at a glance. If you also have broader system-design or VRF/VRV experience, note it in your bid—it could lead to follow-on work, but for now the deliverable is the complete load-calculation package described above.
