KDP eBook Formatting & Cover

I have a completed programming manuscript that I’m ready to release on Amazon Kindle. I now need three things wrapped into one smooth workflow: • A properly styled, error-free KDP eBook file (EPUB or Kindle-ready) that preserves my code blocks, headings, and internal links. • A clean, modern-and-minimalist cover that stands out in Amazon thumbnail size yet still looks sharp on larger devices. • Guidance through the KDP upload steps so the final listing publishes without formatting warnings. The text sits in a Google Doc at roughly 45 000 words; you can work from that or a Word export, whichever suits your toolchain. I’m open to InDesign, Vellum, Scrivener, or pure HTML/CSS workflows—what matters is that the finished file passes KDP’s previewer on the first try. Acceptance criteria – Delivered EPUB/MOBI that passes the Kindle Previewer with no errors or reflow issues in code samples. – 1 front cover JPEG (2560 × 1600 px) plus the original layered source file. – Step-by-step confirmation screenshots of the KDP dashboard up to “Publish” so I know everything’s set correctly.
