We are looking for freelancer specific experience within RF mesh stacks where physical and mac layer should be based on IEEE 802.15.4(g). Currently we are using 2.4 GHz. The development would be on SIlab chips EFR32FG12 and EFR32MG12. You should have some knowledge about different modulations such as • MR-FSK: 2FSK and 4FSK • MR-O-QPSK: DSSS and multiplexed DSSS and what are the pros and cons for different situations. For our main application we use low latency devices so low power is not prio. If you have experienced of the above in combination with 6LoWPAN we are interested. There is a WI-SUN alliance promoting a RF based on IEEE 802.15.4g. We are specifically interested in if you have some experienced of the WI-SUN concept. So we are interested to investigate the possibility to make a full Wi-SUN stack compatible with EFR32FG12 and EFR32MG12. If will be possible to port good open source Wi-SUN solution with RTOS to our platform (MbedOS for example). Or open source RTOS + open source Wi-SUN libraries. So, we interested in implementation of all OSI layers of Wi-SUN. At the application level we interested first in implementation of SNTP, and protocol for OTAP upgrade of devices. We found one open-source Wi-SUN implementation for Cortex-M in the ARM mbed-OS: [login to view URL] If you have any experience there is an advantage. The first step of the project would be to investigate what possibilities and provide more infor about how it works. We need to understand features and limitations. Then if all seem good we can proceed to development.

I know the requirements and functions of MAC layer including CSMA, ALOHA/Slotted Aloha and other shared medium access. I have also worked in the past on Contiki. Hi, We are a group of 6 embedded engineers with me leading the group who specialise in wireless communications. I have 18 years expereince working in wireless domain where i have worked on technologies such as lte, wimax, 802.15.4 protocols such as zigbee and thread, wifi, ble, ble mesh, sub ghz band proprietary start and mesh networks, etc. We have used embedded linux as well as rtos on the gateways for these mesh iot networks and rtos and bare metal firmware on thr devices side. we have expereince not only with the functional implementation of the mesh networks but also coding for mesh network quality analysis such as throughput, latency , etc analysis.
