Custom Drag and Drop Calendar for Appsheet App

We use an Appsheet app to schedule and track our daily manufacturing activities. We still use a legacy google sheets file to plan and schedule production around 4-8 weeks in the future. Usually we plan about one month at a time. We are still using the legacy sheet because it’s setup like a traditional calendar and much easier to visualize, especially as we move things around on the schedule. The downside is that it’s not setup well to use the schedule data. In appsheet, the basic calendar integration doesn’t give us what we need. We would like to develop a custom calendar UI with drag and drop functionality, that mimics our sheet file, but in a way that the data is actually stored and can be used for analysis.
For our scheduling, we have three production rooms. On a given day, we might make 1-2 products in each room. For purposes of the scheduling screen, if the user moves a planned work order from one day to another, the date field for that record should automatically update. Similarly, if they change the start or stop time by dragging the calendar entry, the relevant fields should update for that entry.
This calendar / scheduling tool does not necessarily need to live inside of the appsheet app, as long as it can use the same data that is being used by appsheet. Our app runs on a google sheets file as the data source.
