Hi I believe that I could help you out with a solution to your problem. Depending on what view engine you are using, whether it's the layouts, partials and/or content that needs to be custom served and the folder structure you have in mind the solutions might look a bit different. It is very likely that I can implement what you need in one middleware function and an extension of the Express render method (I assume that you are using Express). Implementation in your existing app would then be very smooth with just two lines of code in your entry file and two modules. No modification of the existing routing would be necessary.
