I am seeking a qualified lawyer or legal professional based in Australia (preferably New South Wales) to assist in recovering an unpaid debt of around $1,000 USD. Background: In mid-2022, I completed a project for a client via Freelancer.com. Following the completion of the work, the client blocked me to avoid payment and has since remained unresponsive. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this through Freelancer.com’s internal support and dispute systems, the funds remain unpaid. As Freelancer.com is an Australian-based entity, I require local legal expertise to escalate this matter. Scope of Work: 1. Case Review: Analyse provided communication logs, project milestones, and contract details to determine the best legal path. 2. Terms of Service Analysis: Review Freelancer.com’s Terms of Service regarding Milestone Payments and platform liability in the event of client fraud/blocking. 3.
