A contract for hiring is needed. This contract must be customized for a freelancer and not an employee. I would like to ensure that we are protected legally. Some of the points in the contract should highlight: - The person that is hired is a freelancer and not an employee - The freelancer is not a Founder or Co-Founder nor does he have any equity or shares in company - The time period will only be for 6 months - The compensated amount for the freelancer is... - Bonuses will be given based on the freelancer achieving the metrics given to him within the period of 6 months These are some of the points that should be in the contract contact. Also more points should be added to protect us legally.
