1. Team Communication: Work collaboratively with all (retail)team members in a timely manner to resolve all inventory related issues.
2. Inventory: Manage inventory levels to ensure that they are aligned to Sales Targets
a. Ensure right system settings in RL for all brands and subsequently for all skus
i. Identify issues and most importantly propose recommendations to resolve the issues identified. For example, “hydraSense in stock rates are at 85%, after digging into it looks like 100ml Gentle has zero sales in 65 stores. I reviewed the WM forecast and it is not capturing the zero sales. My recommendation to resolve:
a) Correct the WM future forecast, provide an SSO to get us back in stock, provide direction to the reps to correct on hands at the impacted stores.
b) Contact replenishment to inform them of the issue and work with them to execute my recommendation.
c) I would suggest an FYI to the category manger so they are aware of the situation and the steps we have taken to resolve
ii. Agree on a timeline with the team as to process to review and identify issues
3. Promotional displays, manage the process from start to finish:
i. Maintain an up to date tracker with appropriate lead times to ensure all promotional displays previously negotiated with the category managers are executed with excellence.
ii. Determine action plan for items where PDQs haven’t shipped in full
iii. Create action plan for all bonus items
iv. Report the status of upcoming promotions during the weekly team meeting
v. It is critical to ensure the promotion tracker aligns with the internal display tracker managed by the Customer Operations Manager.
a) During the weekly forecast review meetings ensure all PDQ’s/pallets are coordinated and ready to ship for required dates.
b) Risk Mitigation:
a. Update the appropriate team member immediately with any issues/challenges that may arise.
b. Recommend a plan of action to mitigate any risk that could result
4. Administration:
a. Update and circulate all weekly sales reporting and tracking requirements
b. Provide forecast updates to each respective department as required
c. Provide forecast updates as required
d. Complete new item creation forms as required
