Test key management, downlink, uplink and payload to/from buttons Below is how I basically see the project steps: 1) Configure Pi's SPI , compile packet forwarder app and get it working with the LoRa hat you use. 2) Connect the gateway to one of my ChirpStack server instances (I believe you're going to use North American regional settings, right? What channel plan, btw? You can't handle all the 72 possible channels with one RAK831). 3) Configure the nodes and check connectivity, end nodes LoRaWAN stack and app layer capabilities etc. This also will recuire creating an app in ChirpStack. 4) Enable (and, may be, slightly modify) default http(s) integration in ChirpStack and see if it fits your needs (I understood that you actually are going to create Pi-based clone of Multitech Conduit in AEP mode, but still not sure why?) 5) If the abovementioned ChirpStack feature doesn't fit you need, create a Node-RED configuration/node 6) Install ARM build of ChirpStack on your Pi and move its (and Node-RED, if necessary) configs to the Pi.
