hiiii i have read your project and i have excellent experience with raspberry pi. I have used it in many projects for automation , smart home, ble , IOT...... I can use python, c and c++ for development even I am able to use C for reading or controlling the PI peripherals (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO). SO, i have no problems in dealing with it. Also, i have great experience with bash scripting. So i can save more time in development with these tools. I have worked in projects for remote sites with PI before. I used it to monitor fuel tank and gather data also of fuel consumption, temperature and humidity then send it to remote server. So i have some experience in a similar project to yours. Hello. I will suggest to use Grafana as UI frontend and alerting (if required). As backed I will suggest to use Prometheus TSDB (have milliseconds resolution). It also possible to setup data backup (snapshoting of the TSDB).
