VMWare Workstation backup and rebuild (quick pay 5 stars)

Ubuntu 20.04 on a Laptop; running VMWare Workstation Pro 16.1.1 with 3 VMs, have to save the 3 VMs (I have an S3 that I can help you with) that must be saved. Then VMWare workstation must format the partition and install clean; then install VMWare Pro.
It works on Windows and does not blink as it is dual boot so I will not believe this is hardware
Laptop less than 2 months since purchased new i7 with 16gb memory
