I believe that you have a large number of features - where we will use bitstring GA to find an local optimum solution- and you will use neural network (patternnet which classifies inputs) or fitnet (results with a regression like output). Im pretty good with machine learning, so I'll use proper number of hidden nodes + do crossvalidation to ensure that the results are generalizeable. Also we can use parallel programming with Genetic Algorithm depending on your CPU so that GA will work much faster.
