Mechanical Engineer for Paddy Dryer Design

We are a Sri Lanka–based agro-machinery company planning to manufacture paddy dryers locally. We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with strong knowledge of paddy/grain dryers, blowers, and airflow engineering. Scope of work: • Design a complete paddy dryer system suitable for fabrication • Capacity range: 5 TPH to 50 TPH (modular design preferred) • Blower selection and sizing based on airflow (m³/hr) and static pressure • Air ducting and plenum chamber design • Dryer body, frame, and heater interface design • Chimney / exhaust airflow design Deliverables required: • 2D fabrication drawings (AutoCAD / DWG) • 3D model (STEP / SolidWorks or equivalent) • Blower specification (airflow, static pressure, motor power) • Basic airflow and pressure calculations • Basic Bill of Materials with material thickness recommendations This is a manufacturing-focused project. Concept-only designers are not suitable. Applicants must have proven experience with grain dryers, paddy dryers, or industrial air systems.
