The dual fuel engine (Methane and Diesel DF) is integrated from a diesel engine and gas engine. the engine should run in two scenarios: 1) using diesel fuel only. 2) using Methane natural gas and diesel as a pilot fuel (the portion of the diesel should be between 1%-3%). The layout of the engine is already constructed in AVL Boost environment, along with it's parameters, but it didn't run in the software and I don't know why. JUST TO POINT OUT: the layout of the engine is inspired from MAN company, whose making Marines dual fuel engines, the selected engine is 8L,21/31DF , (four stroke, 8 inline cylinders, 210mm Bore/ 310 Stroke) REQUIRED: Someone who can find the problem in the software.
