Bound-Oxygen (PTY)Ltd is a small business in South Africa, we have a few Natural Products on the market, and we are not yet registered with the MCC/SAPHRA. So, currently, we are not allowed to say much about what our products can or cannot do. But we want this to change, and with the outbreak of the Coronavirus Pandemic (COVID-19), what better to do our research on? There have been a few studies done on the use of Hydrogen Peroxide (our active ingredient) on the Coronavirus and that a 0.5% strength will inactivate this virus on surfaces in under a minute. Have a look here: [login to view URL] In theory, our products should kill it but a bit slower as to get the kill rate you need strong H2O2 (0.5% or stronger) but with a longer contact time (a minute). With our 1% Throat spray, it's strong enough but it will flow past (through the throat) so killing some viruses, but not all, and so continued use will be needed. When you spray this product in your ears, there will be longer reaction time, so it should keep the ears clean from new viruses and bacteria. Bound-Oxygen also have a product for the sinuses – it’s milder a 0.065% or 65ppm. The sinuses can not handle a stronger solution on a continued basis without starting to bleed. But with continued use it also cleans the sinuses very effectively. So, we need proof that the Doctors will be happy with as well as the MCC/SAPHRA. If this proof is good enough for the rest of the world that would also help – just saying. This is not my field of expertise, so before the proof - we as a company needs a plan – this plan is what is needed, and what I would like you to quote on.
