Job Title: Microsoft Business Central 365 Developer -- 4

Job Summary: The Microsoft Business Central 365 Developer is responsible for designing,

developing, customizing, and maintaining solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business

Central (formerly known as Dynamics NAV) platform. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business management software solutions that meet the

needs of our organization and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Development: Design, develop, and customize Microsoft Business Central 365 solutions to meet specific business requirements. This includes creating and modifying extensions, integrations, and reports.

2. Coding and Programming: Write efficient, clean, and maintainable code using C/AL or AL (the programming languages for Business Central).

3. Customization: Customize the Business Central platform to adapt it to the unique needs of the organization or clients, including modifying forms, pages, and reports.

4. Integration: Integrate Business Central with other systems and third-party applications using various methods such as web services, APIs, and data import/export.

5. Testing: Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions. Debug and resolve issues as they arise.

6. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code documentation, system architecture, and solution design documents.

7. Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other team members to gather requirements and ensure successful project execution.

8. Upgrades and Maintenance: Stay up-to-date with Microsoft Business Central updates and versions, and assist in system upgrades and maintenance activities.

9. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements in existing Business Central solutions to enhance system efficiency.

10. Security: Ensure data security and compliance with best practices and industry standards in solution development.

11. User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on the proper use of customized Business Central solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelo;s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Previous experience in developing solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.

Proficiency in C/AL or AL programming languages.

Strong understanding of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) concepts and business processes.

Knowledge of database management and SQL.

Experience with integration tools and techniques.

Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Microsoft Business Central certifications (optional but preferred).
