Hi, Let me explain . First of all I'm sorry to hear that you had a bitter experience you had. Truth be told with the price range that you have set you can probably get a new app created instead of trying to salvage what was done and moreover I heavily doubt that it can be salvaged because there is nothing to salvage from if the guy refuses to give you the source code... the code is everything. So I wont give any false hopes. At most what another developer is going to do is rip the front-end from the app link and build the database around it but then that like taking a ferrari chassis and then putting in a new engine , pretty much like getting a new Ferrari. Having said all that, can you tell me what the app is all about and what exactly you wanted to achieve ? Once I get a clear idea of the end goal I would be able to assist you more wisely. Also, please let me know what you choose reach native in the first place and also tell me about the server configuration that you have ... that would give me a more clear idea.
