hi. from what i understand you use a acces database , how about you replace the acces database with a java application that will offer you a user friendly inteface and store informations in a database (mysql,oracle) existing one or a new one. Good day , firstly thank you for the opportunity to bid on your project. From what i understand regarding your requirement. 1. The requirement to Finish existing access database with your additional requirements ( personally it would be a faster approach to complete the work directly in MySQL and then take the database live) 2. User front end and reporting - currently there is no explanation to the front-end requirement. if i may make a suggestion, Create a new single desktop front-end in c# where user security and the vpn requirement can be managed and this will also house the reporting solution you require. 3. Security will be managed via the front-end and will then include multiple access roles. 4. Data exportation will be done via the front-end from all data screens , this will also allow for upload of the same data to allow for offline work to be performed. 5. the erp data integration can be automated if the system produces a data dump or if the output is manual this is also not a major concern. 6.
