Database reverse engineer output tables, relationships, attributes

Need a developer to write a component or re-use existing components available to read in database catalogs from various databases (oracle, db2, ms sql) etc. and store the catalog information or model in an MS SQL database.

Provide a hierarchic listing of database objects. For example, if a specific table is chosen, the tool can migrate quickly up the hierarchy to show its tablespace and database, or down the hierarchy to show all dependent indexes, views, synonyms, aliases, referentially connected tables, and plans.

The reverse engineering process will extract the database's entities, attributes, relationships, indexes, triggers, procedures, and other objects depending on the particular database. Not all of those features are supported by all databases. In addition to being able to work with a number of databases, your tool is able to use a number of different communication methods:

* ODBC

* ADO

* BDE

* direct native connections where appropriate.
