I want to surprise my girlfriend on her 21st birthday with a one-of-a-kind, hand-painted oil landscape that quietly charts the milestones of her life. The scene should read like a visual storybook told through nature: hints of her carefree childhood, subtle nods to the achievements she is most proud of, and recognisable echoes of the places that feel like home to her.
