KDP eBook & Print Formatting

I have a completed non-fiction manuscript sitting in PDF form and I’m ready to get it live on Amazon. What I need is a clean, professional conversion for BOTH Kindle eBook and paperback on KDP. I don’t have a rigid style guide, so I’m relying on your knowledge of KDP’s current best-practice layout standards—margins, trim sizes, font embedding, clickable table of contents, everything that keeps a file from being kicked back by the KDP checker. Here’s what I will hand over: • the final PDF (plus the original Word file if it helps) • any images or charts used in-text, supplied at print-quality resolution Here’s what I expect back: • a ready-to-upload reflowable eBook file (EPUB or Kindle Create format) with hyperlinks, front- and back-matter properly arranged • a print-ready PDF set to the correct trim size, bleed, margins, and page numbering conventions for KDP paperbacks • a short note explaining any layout decisions so I can keep things consistent on future books If you normally work in Adobe InDesign, Kindle Create, Vellum, or similar tools, let me know—whatever gets the job approved first time. Once the files pass KDP’s pre-press check, the project is complete.
