Windchill Migration Architect

I’m preparing a large-scale enterprise migration to the latest Windchill platform and need a seasoned architect who has already steered similar PLM moves from planning through go-live. Your first task will be to craft a clear migration strategy and reference architecture that covers staging environments, cut-over approach, rollback planning, and license considerations. From there, you’ll lead end-to-end execution: extracting legacy data, performing object and attribute mapping, cleansing inconsistencies, validating results, and automating load scripts so the process is repeatable for future waves. Performance tuning and risk management are important—this environment supports thousands of users worldwide—so I’ll rely on you to benchmark jobs, adjust Windchill queues, and keep downtime inside tight maintenance windows. Experience with upgrade and consolidation projects, navigating complex data models, and accommodating integrations or custom code is essential.
