Crawler / Extractor from a different website + AJAX search box

Hi All,

This is 3 parts project:

General Description:

1. Crawler / Extractor from a different website (fixed named fields) into a single table in a database (mysql)

2. Once the database is populated, show it on a webpage in a similar mannor as original website - simple table format grid, plain text with borders, no graphics.

3. AJAX control text box to search and select from that table.

This is a PHP project. The PHP environment is PHP 4.x and it is using SAFE_MODE Enabled.

Part 1 - Crawler /Extractor:

Back- End Processing - Build a PHP page that has a "Click here to run the crawler" button to initiate the population.

I need a Crawler in the following website:

Build a Medicine table that is populated with the values from the website.

Values to be populated are:

Reg No

TradeName

TradeNameHeb

Dosage Form

Manufacturer

Active Component-Concentration /dosage

Active Component-Active ingredient

Part 2 - PHP form showing the medicines:

Build a simple PHP Form that shows the list of medicines grouped by Letters and once clicked on a medicine it shows it's specific data.

Same as the original website, a simple ABC at the top to show the medicines grouping (by letter) and when clicked upon a medicine, it shows

the extracted values from the database that was populated using the Crawler.

Part 3 - AJAX control text box:

As part of the PHP form on Part 2, add a simple text search button that uses AJAX to auto-complete text.

When starting to type the name of the medicine, it should auto-complete/suggest-completion of the medicine from the database.

Once it is selected and you hit 'enter' it will show the table's info on that page.

Notes / reminders about the projects specific needs:

The code to run the crawler must be using PHP 4.x, with Safe_Mode Enabled (more restrictive).

You must show me proof of previous AJAX controls that you have built before to win this project.

Payment and deliverables:

Payment will be made AFTER the completion of the project.

Source code will have to be submitted after payment.

I have been burned before on ordering a project so please read the following on how payment will be made:

Since this is a small project, payment is to be made after the completion of the project.

No pre-payment, no 50% in advance, no 10% in advance, so please don't ask for this.

This is a very small project.

A realistic bid on that will win this project should not exceed the $50-60.
