This will be considered a - WORK MADE FOR HIRE and the freelance/programmer has to be willing to sign a - COPYRIGHT ASSIGNMENT AGREEMENT stating that I own the complete design and all the content. I will provide a PowerPoint explaining how I want the website to work and its layout. The freelance/programmer will be paying the hosting server until the work is complete. When applying please provide me with: 1) links to the current and past websites you have worked on. 2) a list of current and past clients Developing a new online trading platform app from scratch i.e. starting off with a website first, then mobile website, then smartphone apps. There will be a lot of data live feed from all the world stocks, millions of users doing millions of orders so it will need to be very stable. Source of live feed of stock data could be yahoo finance, Reuters, Bloomberg, etc. for stock prices from all major world stocks. I'm not sure but I think that the most complete and free one to start off is Yahoo Finance. The website would be for millions (being optimistic) of users with thousands of stocks and live feeds, so I would need something very stable. In a nutshell, the website would need to have live feeds of major world stock indices where the users can enter buy orders/ sell orders / stop loss orders/ etc. feeding a portfolio and giving a performance to this portfolio. The basics such as the creation of user login & portfolio monitoring for individual users is needed. Each user creates an account, once they are logged in they have a portfolio to create. let's just limit it to a portfolio of 5 stocks to make it easier. the user can buy (have a long position) in a stock or sell (have a short position in a stock). let us assume at first that each user has unlimited money to make it more simple. every user when buying a stock will need to indicate which market type of order he wishes ..sell–stop order buy-stop order , stop limit order and the opposite when the user is selling the stock to be in a short position, a user can also unwind he position (becoming neutral again) so the are three choices: [login to view URL] (long position) 2. Unwind an exiting position (becoming neutral) every user can search for a stock based on a search stock so he searches the stock by entering the stock ticker or the company name and then can chose if he wants to buy or sell that stock. to make the calculus easier we can say that each stock is 20% of the portfolio and we measure the live performance of the user's portfolio. basically it's just being able to create a portfolio of stocks and being able to monitor it. Regarding all the data from Yahoo finance to make the calculus, I don't know where it should be stored but that's a lot of data.... maybe it can be extracted from Yahoo Finance when typing the company name or the ticker?
