566607 MYSQL / PHP Modification

User logs in (user name and passwords in ( tblusers table ) Login Page — login/[login to view URL] If valid login they are directed to loantrack/[login to view URL] Invalid login they are provided message "Wrong Username or Password" and are to login again. Once logged in I want them to be able to enter a loan number in the loan number field and see if the number exists already, if it does then they can pick a TASK from the drop down and submit the record. If the loan number does not exist I want them to get some sort of visual message indicating the loan number is not valid or in the system. *** Presently the loan number, task, and time stamp are added to the database, I have a variable $user that is being inserted into the database as well. I need the logged in users information logged into the user field when they submit the form. I want a visual indicator to say the record was added and then in 2 seconds the form clears the fields in the form for further form submissions. Summary, I need the user added to the submitted record in the user field in the tblloantasks table. Checking to ensure loan number exissts before submission, if not in system then show message.
