I want a complete clone of the a m p h e n o l c o n n e x (dot) com For 5000+ prducts. All images should be index-able by search engines by part number, cross referenced number and description. All products should be indexed for all searches based on product specs, keywords, descriptions, etc. All products can be exported into flat file which will include direct link, image, and description. This will be for data feed into Yahoo and Google. The database driven site will allow us to upload products and their corresponding specs. The database must have the ability to be searchable, either by-product keywords, competitors cross referenced part numbers or by parts directly. • Products will be linked to customer drawings in PDF format. When a visitor wants to view the drawings they will click on the link which will open a new window where they will be able to view and/or download the file. But only after filling out a contact form. When a visitor fills out the contact form they will be able to view PDF data as needed for a period of 30 days using cookies. After 30 days they will need to fill out a card again. If the product does not have a PDF customer viewable file no link will show. • Cable type, connector series, description, and Impedance, will categorize the products. All of which should be searchable • The product will have a thumbnail image and if clicked on a new window will show a larger image. • Our top tier of customers will have the ability to log into the site and be able to order online. 1) Each will have their own username and password access. 2) Accessibility and pricing will be handled by the administrative person. 3) Only these authorized customers will have access to their own tier pricing. 4) Once the customer places an order an e-mail is sent to the appropriate sales person with a copy to the customer confirming the order. 5) The customer should be able to follow the status of their order from order entry through shipping. 6) This will encourage our customers to have frequent interaction with the website and reduce to some degree the direct communication with Annie and Diane. Both the customer and customer service will be looking at the same information. 7) Each login will generate of record of the company, shipping and billing address, phone, e-mail, date, etc. and a history of log ins. • Regular web traffic will have the ability to build a shopping cart and send it directly to sales for a e-mail quote. NO PRICES WILL BE SHOWN OTHER THAN TO OUR TOP CUSTOMERS AS OUTLINED ABOVE. 1) The sales person will then send that quote to a Rep / Distributor or have the option to fill the order in house. In either case the sales person will have to follow up with the visitor who sent in the RFQ for parts. 2) The shopping cart will collect all pertinent customer information and also ask how the visitor found our site. 3) The shopping cart will have shipping options for the visitor but no shipping charges will be shown. Example: FedEx, UPS, USPS, Freight Collect, RED, overnight etc. 4) All information will be on secure side server (https) which will encrypt all information. • The administrator will configure the menu, header / footer, left and right sides of the pages. • The admin person will also be used to add / delete products, add categories or sub categories. Example: Main Category: BNC Connector or SMA Connector. The sub category: BNC Bulk Head Connector or SMA Right Angle Connector. • Each product can be listed under multiple categories or sub categories. In the admin under main category you can place product main specs. under product. • Admin will allow set up of vendors/ reps and distributor by username/ password. This will allow Tier pricing for each. NO STORAGE OF CREDIT CARDS IN ADMIN OR ON SERVER. All reps/distributors will be terms only. If credit card is to be used. Then sales person will call customer as a follow up and confirmation of order. • Admin will keep track and log traffic and any order placed in shopping carts. • Admin will allow setup for shipping options. • Product can be uploaded and downloaded by flat file. Flat file would include thumbnail/large image product description, cable type, cable codes, materials, and tool required. This job will lead to 2 other sites that we have working for us. THe only addition to the other 2 sites will be prcing to be viewed by all visitors. and Secure Certificate for online transactions.
