To develop a website to promote my business; I’m a corporate recruiter in the tax field. The website shall be directed to potential clients and tax candidates/job seekers. I will expect the web designer to create an original look and feel of the site, which is user friendly, and demonstrates a professionalism of my business. I have a general idea on what I want this look to be. The website will have a variety of pages that addresses different topics on my company. The site will include an RSS feed to collect and display news articles, a contact page, a sign up page for my newsletter and page displaying the current newsletter which I will need to updated monthly. In addition, I will expect the designer to incorporate basic search engine optimization features and add reasonable security measures to prevent the website from being hacked into by intruders. ## Deliverables Attached is a sample home page from another recruiter’s website I like. This is only an example of a look I like; it’s not to be copied. The web address is: [login to view URL] The features of this webpage I like are that it is broken up into sections and tells the user quickly what they must do. It is professional crisp and sharp looking on most browsers. I will expect the web designer to create an original look and feel for the website, which allows visitors to easily understand and navigate through the website. My home page website will have three sections below a picture and statement: Job Seeker, Employer and Newsletter. At the top of the website, the tabs will consist of: Home, Employer, Job Seeker, Newsletter and Contact Us. Below it and throughout the website the user can access Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Within the website there will be pages that only can be accessed, depending on which section is clicked on, through Employer or Job Seeker. The Newsletter, Tax News and Contact Us pages can be accessed from anywhere on the website. For Employer section the pages will consist of: About Tax Advantage Personnel, Client Services (which has 3 pages within it, Process, Retention and Guarantee) For Job Seeker section the pages will consist of: About, which is what I call ‘Why Use Tax Advantage Personnel’, Service (which has 5 pages within it, Our Process, Career Advisement, Resume Critique, confidentiality and then a link to the Newsletter Sign-up). There’s a newsletter sign up page, once completed the information is automatically emailed to me, preferably in a text format to paste on an excel spreadsheet. Within this page there is a link which will allow the user to see the current Newsletter within the website. The newsletter must be setup so I can easily format it each month within the website. I would like search engines to be able to locate the contents of the newsletter. There is a Tax News section which has the latest articles about tax events. These news articles are to be fed in by an RSS feed or the most efficient means possible. I’m attaching a picture of a rough layout on what I’m looking for. I can supply a list of sites with tax news, but have never used these sites to obtain news events in the past, so I’m a little uncertain about how this feature should work. Contact Us page is straight forward, the user can either fill in their contact information or call/email directly. There also needs to be an Administrator sections where I can make changes to the website. In addition, I will expect the designer to incorporate Search engine optimization features so any page can be found on the web. There should also be reasonable security measures to prevent the website from being hacked into by intruders. Although I have several images that I have found on the internet that I like, I’m also looking for the web designer to supply and advise me on this topic since he or she will be coming up with a color scheme as well. All text is already written and will be supplied to the designer to be inserted into the website.
