ACARS System for Flight Simulator X (Tracking software)

Hi guys,

This is a project to develop a tracking software for Microsoft Flight Simulator X.

Applicants must have this software available in order to participate. (Flight Simulator X)

The software must be installed with SP1 and SP2 that you can download from Microsoft Website.

Also in order to interface with the simulator you need to install FSUIPC which is the module that communicates with the simulator and the Visual Basic App.

Basically the project in a nutshell:

1. Develop small VB app to interface with simulator on client PC and extract data (such as altitude, speed, heading, etc).

2. Send that data to our server for processing. (Mysql database with website portal)

3. Create a portal for users to be able to view the aircraft position in a Google Maps interface.

4. Also be able to import the flight route into the map so when you click on a particular airplane that is flying at that time the route can be drawn inside the google maps app.

All that information can be pulled using the FSUIPC interface when connected to the interface.

The server to host the DB, website, will be provided by us.
