PROJECT

Brochureware style website. This site is very front-end, design heavy. The selected provider must match designs exactly and be very aware of design details, spacing, fonts, etc. The existing site is built on a custom CMS, and we would like it refreshed and built in WordPress.

What we are looking for is a front-end developer who has an eye for design. Matching our designs is critical. We need someone who knows and delivers excellent user experience, and if everything isn’t spelled out precisely, they can make excellent choices to deliver a great final product.

70 page (approximately) Wordpress site.

You will NOT be able to show this work in your portfolio, we are an agency ourselves and need to outscore do to being too busy to redo our site.

Four-week turn around with updates (we can view the site) at week 2 and 3. The site will be built on our server.

Functionality

• Image gallery - purchased plugin

• Blog

• Contact forms

• Google Captcha

• There is a video playing on the home page using HTML 5

THEME

Only if you feel, it is necessary as a base and will save time.

Speed, CSS, Javascript, etc.

You must be proficient in these languages, and shortcuts or lazy coding will not be accepted. The site must be maximized for speed. No shortcuts in coding will be accepted. i.e. inline styles, skipping ALT tags, code bloat via nonessential scripts, etc.

SEO

• An understanding of the importance of SEO and implementation of best practices is required. Using H1, Alt tags, and other tags correctly.

• 301 redirects

TECH

• Must meet an acceptable Google speed score and pass webmaster recommendations
