We're an Auckland-based recording studio, looking for an online-based tool for recording and automating our job sheet process.
Currently we're entering this information into a .pdf, but it's a clunky beast and prone to error, so we want to streamline this process somewhat and have it live online where it can be accessed anywhere (and collects data).
We have tried using pre-existing job tracking software, but haven't found anything that would be easier, better or faster for us than using our exiting job sheet system. We have quite complex music licensing details and costings that need to be recorded.
I envisage it being a step-by-step type form that has some list based features and automated elements (like sending a PO request job summary to clients after the job has been completed and approved).
I have attached our existing job sheet .pdf to show you what information we require per job. Another good thing about an online form would be having sections only appear if needed, i.e. if the 'FR to licence' isn't selected, then the Production Music section isn't visible at all.
We have a few more ideas, but want to get an idea of cost associated with creating this - happy to answer any questions.
