Global Price Update by % in Magento 1.9.3

Hi, we have a website which runs Magento 1.9.3. We need someone to run a global price update on the website to update all product prices. We want to update all the product prices by a % for e.g if we run the price update by 20% a product which was £1.00 would then be £1.20. There are over 10,000 products, these are configurable and simple [login to view URL] client is still deciding what % the prices should be increased by.
We also want to ensure, going forward when the client wants to change the price of a product, that the % still isn't added. For example, if they want to then update a product from £1.20, to say £1.40, that it doesn't add 20% on again on top of that.
We will need to do this first on the Staging website, then we would do this on the live website. We need someone who is highly skilled in Magento, no amateurs please as this is a serious project.
