iOS / Android app that will establish a telnet connection & parse responses from the server.

Hi, my name is Igor and I'm managing a team of multiplatform developers with large experience in native development using ObjectiveC for iOS and Java for Android. I have few questions, will your server use an official telnet protocol or it can use a different (custom protocol), can you send/receive data in JSON instead of XML, will there be a fixed number of elements (buttons) or that will depend on data sent, in your mockup I see some screens have two section each with scrollbar, will there be two only or more section and should creation of these section be dynamic or predefined?
