We need the add to cart function of WooCommerce (or another) re-written to integrate with an hosted application.

Sorry for the rather long email! I run a motorcycle shop and we're trying to venture into eCommerce. I have a pretty limited knowledge of programming and I'm finding this is beyond my abilities. I've got some Wordpress/WooCommerce custom integration that we are needing done. We've had a really hard time trying to get this integrated with a good shopping cart and are hoping to be able to find someone that can help us out with this. We are trying to utilize/integrate an application called ARI AccessoryStream on our Wordpress site running WooCommerce. It is a consumer-focused parts, gear, accessories lookup application that easily integrates with existing website platforms and carts. Installed via a simple one line javascript code, AccessoryStream facilitates the identification of products via a quick search, unit fitment search, or category navigation. The process occurs automatically when a user clicks the “add to cart” button for a specific part. Adding multiple parts to the cart using a POST or an asynchronous JavaScript (AJAX) method is also supported. The AJAX method supports adding parts to the cart via JavaScript without navigating away from the page. The information below highlights the some of the parameters that AccessoryStream passes to the cart to support the ordering and checkout process. These standard parameters are used in all add to cart methods. The field keys, such as “arisku, aripartqty, ariprice, & aridescription" can also be renamed to match the existing keys of a specific cart. For example, the SKU passed by AccessoryStream is 3301-1096 and the Product ID was 5131. So we are doing Apples and Oranges instead of Apples to Apples to put it figuratively. It looks like the only way the WooCommerce cart can ‘know’ about an item is if the Product ID is already in the WooCommerce database. In summary, we basically need the add to cart function of WooCommerce (or another) re-written to integrate with this platform and pass product info not found.
