Task: Push Notifications in the web User Story As a portal manager I want to notify users about new deals they might be interested in on our portal. A user should have the option to sign-up for push notifications on our site for a specific shop. Then in our backend I want to have the option to trigger a notification for a specific user or for all users for a specific shop. Important is that the user is not annoyed by the feature for the notifications. We want him to trigger the sign-up action himself. Task Description Your task is to implement the feature above as a prototype. Please keep it simply and focus on the functionality itself. Besides the functionality we will assess also the code structure and code quality, so make sure your code is readable and maintainable. Some technical notes Frontend: • Create a small website with three shops and for every shop there is a website • The website can be static, no need for dynamic content • Feel free to choose whatever library or framework you want, but please keep it simple Backend: • Create a simple form, where a message can be sent to a shop or a user directly • Please use PHP for the backend code. You can choose whatever library you want • You don’t have to implement a user login for the backend Push Notification System: • You are free to use whatever you want for the push service. You can implement it yourself or use something existing.
