Deadline is delayed, the quality is not quite that it should have been, and to add a new feature needs rewrite half the code and fix a tonne of bugs. It hurts so much. So the first thing I did is described my workflow, and how I can avoid some problems. Workflow: 1. Brief 2. Information architecture and prototyping (Axure, Balsamiq) 3. Design (Sketch, Photoshop) 4. Database designing (MySQLWorkbench) 5. Layout (Sass, Blade, Gulp, BEM, SMACSS) 6. Front-end (Vue, jQuery) 7. Back-end (Laravel 5.2) Throughout the project, ​I am using Git. I use SOLID and DRY principles. TDD if required by the project. BEM, SMACSS methodology. And of course OOP. This will help make your project flexible and bugs less.
