Website needed for new and exciting online marketplace

I need someone who can build an online marketplace for services essentially from the ground up. Think Airbnb for experiences, or a real estate listing website for tours. Though I am only looking for basic functionality in the initial stages, there will be elements of some complexity such as rating systems, identification verification, filters, ability to create user profiles, book and complete transactions 'in-house' etc. Although I have design experience, I have absolutely no knowledge of programming or web development. As such I'll leave it up to interested candidates to choose a programming language they think will be best suited - think ease of long term maintenance and modification as well). I think a simple Wordpress setup will suffice ('think' being the operative word. Clean and organised code is a must! For now this project is just an idea, we need someone to turn it into a beautiful reality. I will be discussing the requirements in much further detail with the successful applicant. If all goes well we fully intend on growing and evolving into something big with the right people. Will you go on an adventure with us?
