Be part of a small team of engineers who are building a web based Marketing platform in the hot fast growing Solar Energy Industry. Our Revenue is projected to continue to grow in the near future and our Growth will be your opportunity for growth. This is a telecommute / work remote position with somewhat flexible work hours. Responsibilities •Touch code at every level from the UI, the middle-tier, backend services and down to the database. You will get to work on all layers of our applications. •Develop key features on across the technology stack using: PHP,, MongoDB, JavaScript, Angular JS, SQL, HTML5, CSS, and several other open-source technologies on the Linux Platform. •Help design the future of our technology stack with the rest of our team. •Vagrant based development environment. •This job will involve development of new systems and support of existing systems. •Work within engineering and production to help develop high quality deliverables for our organization. You'll qualify if you have: •2-3+ years of experience in PHP, Linux, and MySQL •Nice to have languages and skills include MongoDB, Angular, JQuery, Rest APIs and Cake •A relatively strong knowledge of html5, css, javascript •Experience with popular third party add-ons •Experience with Git or other Source Control System. •Good visual design sense, capable of creating usable UI •Comfortable on a Linux command line •Strong debugging skills when needed •The ability to multi-task & grow in a challenging technical environment.
