This job requires controls engineers, semi-sr and senior level, with experience in programming, troubleshooting and starting-up PLC based controls systems with remote I/O, hmi, robots and other process equipment. The controls engineer will download an off-line program, troubleshoot I/O and sequence, and provide support along the process. Network configuration, plc sequence and hmi is part of the scope of work. This is an on-the-field work in Oshawa, ON in Canada. All candidates must be able to work legally in Canada. Perdiem is available for non-local candidates. A new automotive platform launching usually requires 40-60 hours a week on site performing all activities described. Knowledge required: Electrical Controls Drawings, PLC Programming, HMI Applications, Industrial Networks, Rockwell RSLogix5 and TIA Portal.

I have the required knowledge for your on-site commissioning project: TIA Portal (STEP 7 & WinCC), RS Logix 5/500/5000, FT View (ME & SE), Profibus, Profinet and Ethernet/IP.
