I need to pull metering data that is currently available only through the DLMS/COSEM protocol and make it readable by my PLC MC-230-02 (datasheet attached) over Modbus RTU on an RS-485 line. The PLC will simply poll for information, so I’m focused on reliable, one-way data collection rather than command or control. Key data points that must map cleanly: • Voltage & current values • Cumulative and interval energy consumption • Power factor Your task is to design and deliver a working gateway or firmware layer—software, hardware interface script, or microcontroller code—capable of translating the DLMS objects that hold those parameters into holding/input registers my PLC can pick up at standard Modbus addresses. Please include: • Register-mapping documentation that shows each DLMS OBIS code and its Modbus register location • Configuration files or source code, ready to flash or run • A brief setup guide plus a test log proving the three parameter groups above are polled correctly at typical baud rates (9 600–38 400) The job will be considered complete once my PLC’s Modbus viewer shows stable, accurate readings for at least 48 hours.
