Power BI Projects Timeline Dashboard (Roadmap / Gantt)

I have a collection of Excel spreadsheets that track multiple projects and their tasks. I need a Power BI dashboard that turns this raw data into a clear, interactive Gantt-style view using the Matrix visual. The key is to let me flip effortlessly between yearly and quarterly perspectives, so the grouping must switch dynamically on a simple slicer or toggle. The dashboard must highlight: • Project timelines mapped across the selected years or quarters • Task-level completion status, ideally with intuitive color cues for “not started”, “in progress”, and “done” Everything should refresh automatically when I replace or append new Excel files, so please structure the queries and data model for simple file-based refresh. I’d like clean DAX measures that drive the date logic, cumulative progress, and any percentage-complete fields. Deliverable: a PBIX file with the data model, measures, slicers, and formatted Matrix visual, ready for me to publish to Power BI Service. If you need placeholder data to demonstrate functionality, incorporate it but keep the structure identical to my Excel layout so I can swap in the real files and hit refresh. Acceptance criteria: 1. Year/Quarter toggle instantly reshapes the Gantt timeline. 2. Creating the measures / dax needed to complete task. 3.
