Hi there,
Congratulations on writing your first novel! That's a huge accomplishment. Is this a rough draft or a revision that you are three-quarters of the way through? Either way, you should be immensely proud of your progress. As a novelist and writer myself, I know how hard it is to see projects to the end! The editing process can be daunting, but I'd love to help you accomplish that with your novel.
Several things about your project description attracted my attention. First of all, I am a Christian and I love seeing fellow believers writing for a Christian audience and market. You sound like you have a clear goal for this book, which is great!
It also sounds like you know your editing terms, which leads me to my second point:
Line editing happens to be my specialty in editing! I have experience in all types, from substantive editing to proofreading, but line editing is where my skills are most honed: sharpening prose for clarity, detail vs. telling modes, dialogue, description, and such, especially with creative writing. I have a recent example that I did for someone who was really pleased with the quality of my work, if you would like to see that (just message me!)
Similarly, I can give you a free sample edit on a page from your draft. If you have any questions about my editing process or my work, please feel free to get in touch and we can discuss!
You have my prayers for getting through the rest of your draft!
Kind regards,
Abigail S.
