I require a scraper written in python or PHP that takes a username (exact match) as an argument and returns data in the following format: Argument: scraper("@username") Result: Location { city: Sydney; country: Australia } It has to determine (best guess) the users location based on the following data that is publically available: Biography, Tagged photos, Phone Number, For biography, you will have to parse their bio, look for matches for the name of a city and/or country For Tagged photos, you will have to parse photos with location tags, figure out which location is most posted at and obtain city and Country data from that. Phone number: If user has a publically available phone number, you can generally determine their location by cross checking the country code (eg: +61) is Australia. However, note this will not tell you what City a user is located in. The idea is to "best guess" the answer for City and Country. Use a weighted algorithm that tries a few methods and best guesses the answer. The idea is to do it as quickly as possible.

Hey! To begin my proposal I thought I’d just talk about my related experience. One of my personal projects that I’m working on is automating an Instagram page. As a rundown of how I used multiple libraries in this project, first I used selenium chrome driver to scrape photos, videos, and post information from posts on other pages. Then I used openCV image recognition to remove posts that had people and writing in them to shorten the list of images. I then outputted post information of the final batch of posts to an excel sheet table and ranked each post individually. From these ratings, I was able to use NLP and keros library to create a logistic classification model to predict and remove unfavorable images in the future as I scrape more posts. As you can see I already have a large chunk of code that I can use to get started on your project. My thought process to create this program is to scrape post data for the account like I currently have going for my project. And then for second part which would be to predict and determine the city and country of the account, that best way to do it would be to implement and machine learning algorithm. In the car of this project I would run an NLP vectorization through the gathered data to better predict that country and city that comes up the most often. I hope you can accept my proposal and talk more about this project in detail!
