We have an in-progress Expo/React Native mobile app that's built on top of an existing web app (B2B SaaS platform). Our lead developer is mid-build and estimates about a week of remaining work, but we're on a hard external deadline and need additional hands to help finish faster in parallel. What we need: An experienced Expo/React Native developer to join for roughly 1 week and pick up remaining screens/features under our lead developer's direction Comfortable jumping into an existing codebase quickly (not greenfield work) Available for daily or near-daily syncs with our lead developer to divide work and avoid conflicts Experience with EAS Build/Submit, since we'll need to move toward App Store submission shortly after Context: Existing Expo/React Native project, not starting from scratch Backend/API already exists (web app is live); this is about completing mobile screens and native functionality Will need to work closely with our CTO to avoid duplicated or conflicting work — this is a collaborative sprint, not an independent build Timeline: Need meaningful progress this week, ideally app feature-complete or demo-ready within 7-10 days. Deliverable: Agreed-upon set of screens/features completed and merged, working alongside our existing developer, ending in a build ready for internal demo and/or App Store submission prep.

Hi — Elias here from Miami. I see you have an in-progress Expo/React Native mobile app built on an existing B2B web application. The goal is to complete the app efficiently while ensuring seamless integration with your current setup. A common issue with projects like this is ensuring smooth communication between the mobile app and the backend. What usually matters most is maintaining performance and reliability, especially under varying user loads. The tricky part is managing state effectively across platforms and ensuring user permissions are handled correctly. To tackle this, I would focus on a clear architecture that prioritizes maintainability and scalability. Setting up robust API endpoints and using state management libraries can help streamline interactions, ensuring the app remains responsive and future-proof for additional features. I've worked on similar mobile projects where I enhanced existing applications, focusing on optimizing user experience and backend efficiency. A few questions to better understand the scope: Q1 – What specific functionalities are you looking to finalize in this sprint? Q2 – Are there any integrations with third-party services that need to be prioritized? Q3 – How do you envision the user roles and permissions within the app? Happy to go through the details and suggest the best technical approach. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Jumping into an in-progress Expo app mid-build under your lead's direction is exactly the kind of parallel sprint I work well in, so the priority isn't showing off my own architecture but matching yours and not stepping on your CTO's branches. First day I'd get the repo running locally, read the existing screens and API layer, and confirm the git flow (feature branches + small PRs, clear screen ownership) so we divide work cleanly and avoid conflicts. From there I pick up the remaining screens/native features you assign, keeping to your existing patterns for navigation, state and API calls rather than introducing new ones. I've shipped React Native/Expo apps end to end including EAS Build and Submit, so I can help push toward a demo-ready build and App Store submission prep within your 7-10 day window. I'm ready for daily syncs to re-scope and reprioritize as your lead's own work lands. Since you're building on top of a live B2B web backend, what are you using for data/state on mobile right now — React Query, RTK Query, or something custom — so I match it exactly and don't create duplicate fetching or caching logic? Tell me which screens are currently unassigned and I'll start there today. Muhammad Saad

Hi I can join your existing Expo/React Native mobile app sprint and help complete the remaining screens and features under your lead developer’s direction. I have experience with Expo, React Native, TypeScript, API integration, navigation, state management, mobile UI implementation, native permissions, EAS Build, and EAS Submit. The main technical challenge is moving fast inside an active codebase without creating merge conflicts, duplicated work, or inconsistent patterns. My approach would be to quickly understand the project structure, follow your lead developer’s conventions, take clearly assigned screens/features, and keep communication tight through regular syncs. I can work from existing backend APIs, implement mobile flows that match the live SaaS platform, fix UI issues, and prepare features for internal demo readiness. I’m comfortable collaborating with a CTO and lead developer, using Git branches, pull requests, code reviews, and clear commit messages. I can also help with EAS build configuration, internal testing builds, and App Store submission preparation where needed. My focus will be practical sprint support that helps your team finish faster without disrupting the current build. Thanks, Hercules

Hello!, I am a Florida-based senior software engineer(frontend, backend, ecommerce, etc) and I read your React Native/Expo project carefully. I understand the goal is to finish an in-progress mobile app built on top of your existing web app within a tight 1 week sprint, so I’d focus on closing the gaps cleanly without disrupting the current codebase. I have about 15 years of experience with JavaScript, React Native, Expo, API integration, backend/frontend development, and Agile delivery. I’m the kind of developer who digs into the details first, because with in-progress apps the real risk is hidden structure, not just visible UI. My approach: 1) review the Expo app, web app flow, and API dependencies 2) identify unfinished screens, broken states, and sync issues 3) implement and test in small sprint-sized chunks 4) stabilize, polish, and hand off with clear notes Relevant work includes mobile and app builds like FitLoop, FieldTrack, and OrderBridge, plus production web systems where React and API reliability mattered a lot. Could you please clarify the following questions to help me better understand the project? 1) What are the exact must-finish items for this 1 week sprint, and which parts are already working well? 2) Are any backend/API endpoints still missing, or should I work strictly with existing APIs? 3) Do you want me to prioritize UI completion, bug fixing, or end-to-end app flows first? If you share the repo and priorities, I can jump in fast and help get

Hi I understand you are looking for hands-on React Native/Expo help to finish an in-progress mobile app that already depends on your live B2B SaaS backend—working in parallel with your lead developer so you can reach feature-complete and demo-ready progress while minimizing merge conflicts. I’m an AI and Web Developer who also builds and integrates full-stack applications, and I’m comfortable jumping into existing JavaScript/Expo codebases to complete screens, wire up API calls, and smooth native/build workflows. My approach is structured and collaborative: follow your lead/CTO direction, keep changes small and reviewable, and focus on a working setup you can submit and demo. For this sprint, I’d start by reviewing the current Expo app structure, the remaining screen list, and the existing API integration patterns. Then I’d take ownership of a clearly agreed subset of screens/features, implement them behind the existing navigation/state conventions, and verify end-to-end flows against the backend. In parallel, I’d help ensure the project is aligned for EAS Build/Submit so you have a build ready for internal demo and App Store submission prep. I can also provide brief handoff notes for what I changed, so your lead developer/CTO can continue quickly without rework. Best, Justin

Your Expo app will fail App Store review if the native module configurations aren't locked down before EAS Build. I've seen teams lose 2 weeks in rejection loops because they didn't validate entitlements and permissions upfront. Quick questions - are you using any custom native modules that need bridging? And is your backend API rate-limited for concurrent mobile sessions during testing? Here is the architectural approach: - REACT NATIVE/EXPO: I'll audit your existing screen components for state management conflicts and implement remaining UI flows using your established patterns to avoid merge hell. - API INTEGRATION: I'll sync with your CTO on endpoint contracts and handle error boundaries for offline scenarios so the app doesn't crash when network drops. - EAS BUILD/SUBMIT: I'll configure build profiles, validate provisioning certificates, and prep the submission checklist so you hit App Store requirements on first try. I've completed 8 Expo apps that went live without rejection, including 2 emergency sprints like this where I joined mid-build. Let's do a 20-minute technical handoff call with your lead dev tomorrow to divide the remaining screens and avoid stepping on each other's commits.

Hi, I understand you need someone who can jump into an existing Expo/React Native codebase and help finish the remaining screens under tight timing, while coordinating with your lead developer to avoid conflicts. I’ve worked on similar React Native projects where we had to align with an existing team and ensure smooth integration with existing APIs, even when the first pass needed some cleanup around state management. I’d approach this by treating it as a controlled sprint—using the existing Expo setup while keeping changes modular to make reviews and merges straightforward. That way, we can move fast without introducing regressions. I’ll keep changes isolated in feature branches and sync daily to match your lead’s progress, so nothing overlaps or breaks. The goal is to get the app to a demo-ready state quickly, with a build ready for App Store submission prep. If this fits your needs, I can start right now. Thanks, Denis

Picking up an in-progress Expo app this close to a demo only works if the work is split cleanly, otherwise merge conflicts and duplicated effort eat the week instead of shipping features. I'm comfortable joining an existing React Native/Expo codebase, getting aligned with your lead developer, and taking ownership of a defined set of screens while staying in sync through daily check-ins. Since the backend is already in place, I'd start by understanding the current API contracts and navigation flow, then focus on completing features without disrupting what's already working. Before EAS Build/Submit, I'd also make sure app configuration and native dependencies are in good shape so there aren't any surprises during submission prep. One question: are the remaining tasks mostly UI/screens, or do they include native integrations that still need to be completed? The goal would be to keep your lead developer moving while getting the app demo-ready on schedule.
