The real-estate web portal is a web application that mimics a typical community- membership site web site presenting updates statuses on all immovable properties for sale, rent and lease. Information such as Photos, location, price, current status as to Sold or available, links to parent web hosting sites. The real estate web portal will depend on data from various individually owned real estate web sites. This data will reach real estate web portals backend systems via daily feeds invoked by API’s, RSS feeds and XML streams. Implementation will be asynchronous and non-real time. The real-estate web portal will provide the ability for any individual above 18 years of age to register for free. Upon a members logging in, the member can search for properties based on many criteria’s. Such as, location, price range, size, neighborhood, etc. Interactive mapping based on AJAX (like Google maps) technologies will be implemented.
